WINTER WARMERS UPDATE..

So, this coat is my current obsession. It is such amazing quality and looks so much more expensive than it really was. It's a great Acne Shearling jacket dupe, but about an eighth of the price..... It's from Stradivarius and it was only £55.99. It's super thick and cosy, and keeps me so warm. It hasn't actually been cold at all in London, but i've been wearing it anyway because I love it that much! It really toughens up any outfit, but manages to add a slightly chic touch as well. It's definitely a wardrobe staple for me this winter!

A WEEK AWAY IN THE SUN..

So i've just recently got back from a week away in Menorca and let's just say i'm feeling slightly depressed to be back in cold dark England. It was so lovely to escape from my everyday routine and chill all day everyday. We often went into Mahon during our visit, which is the capital of Menorca. It is a really lovely city (its absolutely tiny!) with so many gorgeous little boutiques and shops. It was also slightly cheaper over there..which means I may have bought a few new bits..

I've just got to add as well... the coffee out there was so so good! So if you're ever in Menorca definitely try the coffee because its incredible!

WHAT I WORE:

Cullottes: Zara
Trainers: Adidas Stan Smiths

MONOCHROME LOVING

90% of my wardrobe is either black, white, grey or navy. With the autumn months coming up i'm so excited to start putting together some amazing monochrome outfits. I think a fedora can add a really chic touch to an outfit and pull it all together. As it's still pretty mild outside, I've paired my Birkenstock dupes with this to still keep that summer touch.

At the moment i'm so in love with my multicoloured pom-pom keyring from River Island, it's looks adorable clipped onto a bag or a set of keys!

This outfit is so versatile and i'm secretly looking forward to the colder weather so I can wear more outfits like this one..

WHAT IM WEARING:
Hat - Topshop
Tshirt - Topshop
Blazer - HM
Jeans - Asos
Long Jacket - Topshop
Shoes - HM
Pom Pom Keyring - River Island

SUNNY DAY IN CAMBRIDGE

Last weekend I got the chance to spend the day in Cambridge and explore as I have never been before. It was probably one of the most 'typically english' places I've ever been to, and what I mean by that is that there were loads of lovely little boutiques selling art, clothing and jewellery, pubs that were full of people drinking pimms and eating fish and chips and adorable little ice cream stands.

The weather in the UK has been pretty good at the moment, so I have actually been able to wear some summer clothes. To be honest, my wardrobe isn't particularly summery, and doesn't often feature much colour..

My outfit is pretty simple, but great to wear as something comfy and cool on a warmer day. I do feel that you need a pair of birkenstocks or birkenstock dupes (like mine), they are a must for summer. They are the comfiest shoes I own, and it's all I have been wearing recently.

WHAT I WORE:
Top - Topshop
Skirt - Zara
Shoes - H&M
Bag - River Island
Sunglasses - Urban Outfitters
Necklace - New Look

AUTUMN/WINTER WISHLIST

How BEAUTIFUL would this outfit look? I love it. I know it's all black (apart from the fedora) but I just think it would look so flattering on. I would definitely wear this outfit to university or if I was going out shopping. However I reckon you could probably dress it up with a few more accessories and wear it out to drinks or going to a bar. But to be honest, you can wear this outfit wherever you would want too, it's just so versatile!

I would probably say the boots are my favourite thing out of all of the pieces. They're just so different and they really make the outfit. However the dress, oh I do love a shirt dress, just looks soooo wearable.

Now, i'm definitely a high street girl but some of these items are not so high street...But I just had to include them because they're just too beautiful.

So..

The shirt dress - farfetch.com - £302
Leather Jacket - New Look - £99.99
Fedora - River Island - £28
Black Bag - Asos - £38
Ring - Asos - £3.00
Boots - Alexander Wang - £565 .. (I know, its heartbreaking)

If I wanted those Alexander Wang boots then I'd probably not be able to eat for about 6 months but let's not dwell on the negative stuff..
I hope some of you like this look and check it all out on ASOS.COM!

Love, Lucy x
